While I was busy being our family house keeper Addison decided to climb out the doggy door and play outside. Panic stricken I ran throughout the house looking for her and then noticed her happily playing out side in some dirt that Byron had just moved around. Deciding not to disturb the peace I left her out there to play. A little while later I heard the doggy door swing open some grunts and then the pitter patter of little feet coming around the corner and there she was COVERED in dirt. I am not sure how she managed to get that dirty but she did.

Utah State Fair

What can I say every year we go, its exactly the same, and I leave saying I am never going again and yet some how I always end up going. I thought that Addison would love to see the animals but since we have our own mini farm she could of cared less. At least she got to ride a pony.

The Fourth

Fourth of July 2009


Centerville fourth of July parade is a fun activity we like to go to every year.

Melissa, Tyler and Zach were able to squeeze in our spot with us this year it is a very busy parade so space is limited but we made room for them and the kids had a great time.

After the parade we walked down to the park and got Addison a snow cone. She loved riding in the wagon.

Byron took Addison on a post parade ride on his moms scooter I could her her giggle all the way up and down the street.
We went to Tressa's house in Morgan that evening for a BBQ. We can see Morgan's fireworks from her front porch and her neighbor put on his own show with patriotic music and all.

Baby Emery loved the fireworks and would scream this funny little scream every time JD did the flower ones it was hilarious. I was not sure how Addison would take them but she loved it. We had a great Fourth of July.

Summer Pool Party at Grandma's

OK, so it wasn't much of a party and of course it got a little cold and rainy but the girls had a good time anyway.

Once the sprinkles of rain stopped they wanted to get in again and Byron didn't put a swim diaper on Addison so she got a little soggy. Its amazing how much water those things can hold we had to check the pool to see if there was any water left.

Thank goodness all the weight didn't hold her under the water.

Due to the pregnancy hormones I have this overwhelming feeling to get everything cleaned and organized before the baby comes. So I have been keeping Byron busy with little projects around the house. Of course Addison loves to help out so Byron gave her a little tape measure just like dads. She is such a good helper.

Byrons mow'n buddy

All it takes is a little noise from the mower and Addison is clawing at the door to be with Byron while he mows the lawn. The poor guy gives in and ends up carrying her while he mows. Talk about exhausting. I know he secretly loves it though.

For those of you who didn't know I would like to announce that I am pregnant. And although I swore I would never do it again here I am expecting our second. I am however very excited and of course a little nervous. With troubling news that I have a genetic disorder that causes my blood to clot and was expecting to shoot myself with blood thinner in the belly two times a day a very pleasant meeting with the specialist cleared up the facts and NO shots for me. During the visit we also had a ultrasound and the result showed it is in fact a girl.

Now the next question is always "Have you picked out any names". The answer is no. Picking out a name is something I do not like to do so don't expect to know any time soon. I am so excited to have another girl and the fact that we don't have to buy new cloths, bedding, toys, etc, is icing on the cake.


The ultrasound also showed that the baby is a little earlier then expected so my due date is now November 22. That is a little discouraging because as anyone who has been pregnant knows every week counts but as long as she comes out healthy that is all that matters. Oh, and i don't want to be in the hospital on Thanksgiving so lets pray that doesn't happen.
